在那里,她心神专注,安住于苦行;并以歌咏相伴的布施供养,礼敬天神之主——商羯罗(Śaṅkara)。
Narada (narrative voice within the Uttara-Bhaga tirtha-mahatmya discourse)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It highlights that inner steadiness (samāhita-manas) and sustained tapas become complete when expressed as reverent worship—here, honoring Śaṅkara through devotional song and charitable offering.
Bhakti is shown as active reverence: the devotee worships the deity not only inwardly through concentration and austerity, but outwardly through praise (gīta) and giving (dāna), integrating feeling, discipline, and service.
The verse implicitly points to correct liturgical practice—recitation/singing of hymns (linked with Śikṣā for sound and Chandas for meter) and dāna as a ritual component of worship in tirtha-oriented observances.
