当二次生者(婆罗门)欢喜时,众生对摩陀婆(毗湿奴)的奉爱便会生起;而当他们震怒时,此人便为他们所憎。此乃我所宣说的真实。

It links Viṣṇu-bhakti with dhārmic conduct toward dvijas: pleasing the righteous and learned supports devotion, while offending them creates spiritual and social hostility that obstructs bhakti.
Bhakti is not presented as isolated emotion; it is nourished by humility, service, and respect toward those devoted to Vedic life—especially brāhmaṇas who preserve mantra, ritual, and dharma—thereby aligning the devotee with Mādhava.
Indirectly, it emphasizes the living custodians of Vedic practice (connected with Vedāṅga-based ritual discipline): honoring dvijas who uphold śrauta/smārta conduct helps sustain proper karmakāṇḍa and dharma, which in turn stabilizes devotion.
