Adhyaya 71 — The King’s Remorse and the Sage’s Counsel on the Necessity of a Wife
एवं शप्ता सुता तेन सा चास्ते तत्र भूपते ।
नीता तेनोरगेन्द्रेण धृता तत्सुतया सती ॥
evaṃ śaptā sutā tena sā cāste tatra bhūpate / nītā tenoragendreṇa dhṛtā tat-sutayā satī
她既被他诅咒，哦，大王，那位女儿便留在彼处。那位贤德的女子乃由龙蛇之主（那伽王）携来，又被其女儿留置守护于彼。
