Adhyaya 54 — Cosmography of Jambudvipa: Continents, Oceans, Varshas, and Mount Meru
हिमवान् हेमकूटश्च ऋषभो मेरुरेव च ।
नीलः श्वेतस्तथा शृङ्गी सप्तास्मिन् वर्षपर्वताः ॥
himavān hemakūṭaś ca ṛṣabho merur eva ca | nīlaḥ śvetas tathā śṛṅgī saptāsmin varṣa-parvatāḥ ||
喜马梵(Himavān)、金峰(Hemakūṭa)、利沙婆(Ṛṣabha)以及须弥(Meru);又有尼罗(Nīla)、室吠多(Śveta)与室陵伽(Śṛṅgī)——此七者,即此阎浮洲中的七座“伐尔沙山”(varṣa-mountains)。
