Adhyaya 49 — Cosmic Dissolution
ग्रामं सघोषविन्यासं तेषु चावसथान् पृथक् ।
सोत्सेधवप्रकारञ्च सर्वतः परिखावृतम् ॥
grāmaṃ saghoṣa-vinyāsaṃ teṣu cāvasathān pṛthak | sotsedha-vapra-kāraṃ ca sarvataḥ parikhā-vṛtam ||
“grāma(村落)与其 ghoṣa(聚落/坊区)及其中分立的住处一并规划;有高起的土垣与围墙,并由护城壕沟四面环绕。”
