The verse frames familial regard as a fruit of puṇya: being ‘seen’ by one’s father/elder is treated as grace. It reinforces the purāṇic valuation of honoring lineage bonds and receiving them with gratitude.
Vamśānucarita: it highlights father–son linkage central to dynastic narration.
To be ‘visited/seen’ by the father can symbolize the descent of an approving higher principle (authority, dharma, or ancestral merit) into one’s present life—an inward confirmation.
