The narrative re-centers on filial piety and family bonds: returning home includes honoring parents, and the emotional thread (desire to see Madālasā) drives the next chapter.
This is chiefly adhyāya-colophon plus Ākhyāna continuation; it is not a pancalakṣaṇa enumerative passage but part of the narrative framework.
The swift return to ‘one’s own city’ and bowing to parents can symbolize returning to one’s inner source and aligning with foundational principles before seeking the ‘beloved’ (Madālasā) as a figure of sought truth/wholeness.
