Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic clarity in speech: when concealment is no longer required, one should state the truth plainly—grounding identity in lineage and responsibility rather than in disguise or fear.

In the Virāṭa episode, Arjuna discloses his true identity to the king, asserting that his fame should already be known and specifying his place among the Pāṇḍava brothers—junior to Bhīma and senior to the twins Nakula and Sahadeva.
