पाण्डवपरिचयः—विराटसभायां प्रकाशनम्

ततो दिशश्वानुदिशो विवृत्य शरै: सुधारैर्निशितै: सुपत्रै: । गाण्डीवघोषेण मनांसि तेषां महाबल: प्रव्यथयाज्चकार
tato diśaś cānudiśo vivṛtya śaraiḥ sudhārair niśitaiḥ supatraiḥ | gāṇḍīvaghoṣeṇa manāṃsi teṣāṃ mahābalaḥ pravyathayāc cakāra ||
随后，那位大力勇士散射利箭——刃锐锋利、尖端森然、羽翎齐整——遮蔽诸方与四隅之间。甘狄婆弓弦轰然如雷，其震响直入俱卢战士心魄，使他们惊惧不安，战意在鏖战中为之动摇。
