बबन्ध कक्षां कौन्तेयस्तत: संहर्षयन्‌ जनम्‌ । ततस्तु वृत्रसंकाशं भीमो मल्लं समाह्दयत्‌

babandha kakṣāṃ kaunteyas tataḥ saṃharṣayan janam | tatastu vṛtrasaṃkāśaṃ bhīmo mallaṃ samāhvayat ||

毗湿摩波耶那说道:随后,昆蒂之子系紧摔跤者的腰带,激起众人欢呼。继而,毗摩向一名形貌如弗栗陀罗(Vṛtra)般的摔跤手发出挑战——这并非寻常戏赛,而是在竞技场规矩之下,对力量、意志与自持的公开考验。
