विश्वावसोस्तु तनयाद् गीत॑ नृत्यं च साम च । वादित्रं च यथान्यायं प्रत्यविन्दद् यथाविधि,“इतना ही नहीं, उन्होंने विश्वावसुके पुत्रसे नृत्य, गीत, सामगान और वाद्यकलाकी भी विधिपूर्वक यथोचित शिक्षा प्राप्त कर ली है
viśvāvasos tu tanayād gītaṃ nṛtyaṃ ca sāma ca | vāditraṃ ca yathānyāyaṃ pratyavindad yathāvidhi ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道:“不仅如此,他还从毗湿瓦婆苏之子处,依正法与仪轨,学习了歌唱、舞蹈、萨曼颂唱(Sāman)以及器乐演奏;诸艺皆按成规而习,合乎其法。”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
True accomplishment is gained through disciplined learning—approaching a qualified source and mastering skills 'yathāvidhi' (by rule) and 'yathānyāya' (appropriately). The verse values refinement and right method, not mere talent.
Vaiśampāyana reports that the person being described received proper instruction from Viśvāvasu’s son in multiple performing arts—singing, dancing, Sāman-chanting, and instrumental music—indicating comprehensive, rule-based training.
