यमात् कुबेराद् वरुणादिन्द्राच्च कुरुनन्दन । अस्त्राण्यधीतवान् पार्थो दिव्यान्यमितविक्रम:,“कुरुनन्दन! अमित पराक्रमी अर्जुनने यम, कुबेर, वरुण और इन्द्रसे दिव्यास्त्रोंका अध्ययन किया है
yamāt kuberād varuṇād indrāc ca kurunandana | astrāṇy adhītavān pārtho divyāny amitavikramaḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道:“噢,俱卢族的欢欣啊,普利塔之子阿周那,勇力无量,已从阎摩、俱毗罗、伐楼那与因陀罗处习得并精通诸般天授神兵。”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that extraordinary power (divine weapons) should be acquired through disciplined learning and legitimate transmission from rightful authorities, implying ethical restraint and responsibility in its later use.
Vaiśampāyana reports that Arjuna has obtained mastery over celestial weapons by studying them from major deities—Yama, Kubera, Varuṇa, and Indra—signaling his preparation and divine-backed capability for the coming conflicts.
