तत्र वेदेषु नष्टेषु मुनेरड्धिरस: सुतः । ऋषीणामुत्तरीयेषु सूपविष्टो यथासुखम्‌,एक समय उन ऋषियोंको सारा वेद भूल गया। इस प्रकार वेदोंके नष्ट होने (भूल जाने)-पर अंगिरा मुनिका पुत्र ऋषियोंके उत्तरीय वस्त्रों (चादरों)-में छिपकर सुखपूर्वक बैठ गया (और विधिपूर्वक 3कारका उच्चारण करने लगा)

Transliteration

tatra vedeṣu naṣṭeṣu muner arddhirasaḥ sutaḥ | ṛṣīṇām uttarīyeṣu sūpaviṣṭo yathāsukham ||

Translation

其时，吠陀既已失落（被遗忘），阿尔迪拉萨（Arddhirasa）牟尼之子便安然坐下，藏身于诸仙披在上身的衣裳之间。
