ब्राह्मणेन भवेच्चीर्ण व्रतं द्वादशवार्षिकम्‌ । इतरेषां तु वर्णानां सर्वपापं प्रणश्यति

Transliteration

brāhmaṇena bhavec cīrṇaṁ vrataṁ dvādaśavārṣikam | itareṣāṁ tu varṇānāṁ sarvapāpaṁ praṇaśyati ||

Translation

鸠拉斯提耶（Ghūlastya）说道：“行此朝圣者，婆罗门所得功德，等同于守持十二年大誓；而其余诸种姓之人，一切罪垢皆得消灭。”
