तथैव मलदिग्धाजुीं परिष्वज्य शुचिस्मिताम् । सुचिरं पुरुषव्याप्रस्तस्थौ शोकपरिप्लुत:,इसी प्रकार पवित्र मुसकान तथा मैलसे भरे हुए अंगोंवाली दमयन्तीको हृदयसे लगाकर पुरुषसिंह नल बहुत देरतक शोकमग्न खड़े रहे
tathaiva maladigdhāṅgīṃ pariṣvajya śucismitām | suciraṃ puruṣavyāghras tasthau śokapariplutaḥ ||
同样地，那罗——人中之虎——将达摩延蒂紧紧拥入怀中；她四肢虽沾满尘垢，笑容却依旧清净。良久，他伫立不动，悲恸如洪水漫过心田，仿佛哀伤也能使高贵之人一时停却行动。
