Draupadī’s Lament and Theodicy: Dharma, Dice, and Īśvara’s Governance (Āraṇyaka-parva 31)

tasmāt te saṁśayaḥ kṛṣṇe nīhāra iva naśyatu | vyavasya sarvam astīti nāstikyaṁ bhāvam utsṛja ||

Educational Q&A

Doubt regarding dharma should be dispelled through firm resolve; one should abandon a skeptical or atheistic mindset and trust in the reality of moral law and its consequences.

Yudhiṣṭhira addresses Kṛṣṇa, urging him to let his uncertainty fade like mist and to adopt a decisive conviction in the truth and reality of dharma, rejecting disbelief.
