Educational Q&A

The verse highlights dharmic sensitivity: the learned community (brāhmaṇas) responds with focused compassion to Draupadī’s suffering, and the righteous king Yudhiṣṭhira arrives with familial solidarity—suggesting that moral order is upheld through both empathetic witness and responsible leadership.

Brāhmaṇas, gathered with concentrated minds, are repeatedly grieving for Draupadī. At that moment Yudhiṣṭhira reaches the place with Draupadī, moving among his brothers, specifically between Nakula and Sahadeva.
