अभिषिच्यस्व देवानां सैनापत्ये महाबल । इन्द्रने कहा--महाबलवान्‌ स्कन्द! मैं तुम्हारे कहनेसे इन्द्र-पदपर प्रतिष्ठित रहूँगा। यदि वास्तवमें तुम मेरी आज्ञाका पालन करना चाहते हो, यदि तुमने यह निश्चित बात कही है, अथवा यदि तुम्हारा यह कथन सत्य है तो मेरी यह बात सुनो--महावीर! तुम देवताओंके सेनापतिके पदपर अपना अभिषेक करा लो

Transliteration

abhiṣicyasva devānāṃ saināpatye mahābala |

Translation

因陀罗说道：“噢，大力者啊，当受灌顶，统领诸天之军，任天军统帅之职。若你确欲奉行我的命令，若你的决意坚固而真实，那么听我裁断：我将依你所劝，安住于因陀罗之位；而你则受灌顶，成为诸天的将军。如此，权柄得以维系而无争竞，职责亦归于最能以力量与功德济益众生之处。”
