Kaurava Court Hears of the Pāṇḍavas’ Forest Hardship
viniḥsṛtya yayau vadalivagyito vidhivat prabhuḥ | āgamyāhavanīyaṃ vai tair dvijair mantrato hutam ||

The verse highlights dharma as disciplined adherence to prescribed sacred procedure: even a powerful person acts 'vidhivat' (according to rule), while the priests perform offerings correctly with mantras, showing that authority is harmonized with ritual order and responsibility.
A lordly figure departs and proceeds as properly instructed, then arrives at the āhavanīya sacrificial fire where Brahmin priests have already performed mantra-accompanied oblations, indicating an ongoing or completed rite conducted in due form.
