Power and conquest are ethically completed only when placed under dharma: Arjuna frames Bhima’s strength as a means to establish Yudhiṣṭhira’s righteous protection of the earth, emphasizing kingship as guardianship (pālana) rather than domination.
Arjuna praises Bhima’s unmatched might—so great that even formidable non-human classes (Yakṣas, Asuras, Gandharvas, birds, and serpent-beings) cannot withstand him—and declares that Yudhiṣṭhira will rule and protect the earth secured through Bhima’s martial prowess.
