न मां मर्त्याय भगवन् कस्मैचिद् दातुम्हसि । प्रदानं मोघधमेतत् ते यास्याम्येषा रसातलम्,कुन्तीकुमार! उनके द्वारा अपना दान होते ही पृथ्वी बहुत दुःखी हो गयी और कुपित हो लोकनाथ प्रभु ब्रह्मासे इस प्रकार बोली--“भगवन्! आप मुझे किसी मनुष्यको न सौँपें। यदि मुझे मनुष्यको सौंपेंगे तो वह व्यर्थ होगा, क्योंकि मैं अभी रसातलको चली जाऊँगी'
na māṁ martyāya bhagavan kasmaicid dātum arhasi | pradānaṁ moghadham etat te yāsyāmyeṣā rasātalam, kuntīkumāra |
罗摩沙说道：“她说：‘圣主啊，你不应将我交给任何凡人。若把我赐予人类，你的赐与便成徒然，因为我将立刻坠入罗娑多罗（Rasātala）。’因此，当她被赠出之时，大地悲苦至极；又含怒以此言告于梵天——诸世界的护持者——恳求不要把她托付给人间的占有，因为那样的“所有”将违逆正当秩序，使神圣之举失其意义。”
