Ṛśyaśṛṅgopākhyāna-praveśaḥ — Lomāśa narrates the origins of Ṛśyaśṛṅga and the Anga drought (ऋश्यशृङ्गोपाख्यान-प्रवेशः)

लोगश उवाच विभाण्डकस्य विप्रर्षेस्तपसा भावितात्मन: । अमोघवीर्यस्य सत: प्रजापतिसमद्युते:,लोमशजीने कहा--राजन! ब्रह्मर्षि विभाण्डकका अन्तःकरण तपस्यासे पवित्र हो गया था। वे प्रजापतिके समान तेजस्वी और अमोघवीर्य महात्मा थे। उनके प्रतापी पुत्र ऋष्यशृंगका जन्म कैसे हुआ, यह बताता हूँ, सुनो। जैसे विभाण्डक मुनि परम पूजनीय थे, वैसे ही उनका पुत्र भी बड़ा तेजस्वी हुआ। वह बाल्यावस्थामें भी वृद्ध पुरुषोंद्वारा सम्मानित होता था

lomaśa uvāca

vibhāṇḍakasya viprarṣes tapasa bhāvitātmanaḥ |

amoghavīryasya sataḥ prajāpati-samadyuteḥ ||

罗摩沙说道:“大王啊,婆罗门仙人毗般陀迦(Vibhāṇḍaka)的内在之心,因苦行(tapas)而得以净化并坚固。他是真实而高贵的圣者,灵力无失,光辉灿然,宛如生主波罗阇钵底(Prajāpati)亲临。”
