वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse emphasizes steadfast capability in the face of an enraged and fearsome opposing force. Ethically, it frames courage and preparedness—supported by allies—as necessary virtues when conflict becomes unavoidable, especially within a dharma-charged struggle.
Vaiśaṃpāyana asserts that the Pāṇḍavas, along with the Sañjayas, are capable of meeting and resisting the terrible, anger-driven army of the Dhārtarāṣṭras—signaling confidence in their strength and readiness as war approaches in the Udyoga Parva.
