यच्चैव नगरे तस्मिउ्छूयते महदद्धुतम् । एकस्य च बहूनां च पर्याप्त तन्निदर्शनम्
yac caiva nagare tasmin śrūyate mahad adbhutam | ekasya ca bahūnāṁ ca paryāptaṁ tan nidarśanam ||
而且，就在那座城中，还流传着一件大奇事：一名勇士独战众人之惊世之战。仅此一例，便足为明证——显出那位英雄（阿周那）的神威与不可战胜。昔日在维罗吒城，你诸兄弟的全军曾在他面前惊惧溃逃，连所夺之牛群也尽皆弃置。
