Adhyāya 195 — Arjuna’s Capability and Restraint Regarding Divyāstras

Udyoga Parva

Educational Q&A

Even on the brink of war, a righteous ruler proceeds with measured restraint and careful stewardship—organizing resources responsibly rather than acting in panic or greed.

Yudhiṣṭhira is departing after assembling treasury resources and storehouses, moving slowly and orderly with an elephant division—indicating large-scale mobilization and preparation.
