क्षत्रदेवब्रह्म॒देवी रथस्थौ पुरुषर्षभौ । जघनं पालयन्तौ च पृष्ठतो<नुप्रजग्मतु:,क्षत्रदेव और ब्रह्मदेव ये दोनों पुरुषरत्न रथपर बैठकर सेनाके पिछले भागकी रक्षा करते हुए पीछे-पीछे जा रहे थे
kṣatradeva-brahmadevī rathasthau puruṣarṣabhau | jaghanaṁ pālayantau ca pṛṣṭhato 'nuprajagmatuḥ ||
毗湿摩波衍那说：刹帝罗提婆（Kṣatradeva）与梵摩提毗（Brahmadevī）——两位人中俊杰——同乘一车，随军在后，守护大军之尾。其职在于护卫最易受袭的后阵，体现了行军赴战之际的纪律、警觉与担当。
