पज्चयोजनमुत्सृज्य मण्डलं तद्रणाजिरम् । सेनानिवेशास्ते राजन्नाविशष्छतसंघश:,समरांगणके लिये पाँच योजनका घेरा छोड़कर सैनिकोंके ठहरनेके लिये सौ-सौकी संख्यामें कितनी ही श्रेणीबद्ध छावनियाँ डाली गयी थीं
pañcayojanam utsṛjya maṇḍalaṁ tad raṇājiram | senāniveśās te rājann āviśan śatasamghaśaḥ ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：大王啊，他们在那战场周围留出五由旬的环形空域作为界限，随后军队设立营寨——层层有序，百人一队，列成多行——使诸军得以纪律驻扎，整肃待战，迎接将至的冲突。
