Ulūka’s Provocation and Keśava’s Counter-Message (उलूकदूत्ये केशवप्रत्युत्तरम्)
brūyās tvaṃ sahadevaṃ ca rājamadhye vaco mama | yuddhyedānīṃ raṇe yatnaḥ kleśān samara ca pāṇḍava ulūka ||

The verse urges a Kṣatriya to recall past wrongs and hardships as moral fuel for resolute action in a just war, emphasizing disciplined effort (yatna) and readiness to fight when the time for battle has arrived.
Sañjaya reports a directive to Ulūka, who is to speak in the royal assembly and deliver a pointed message to Sahadeva: remember earlier sufferings imposed on the Pāṇḍavas and now fight with full effort on the battlefield.
