Ulūka’s Provocation and Keśava’s Counter-Message (उलूकदूत्ये केशवप्रत्युत्तरम्)
मदद्वितीयेन पार्थन वैरं व: सव्यसाचिना । स सत्यसंगरो भूत्वा पाण्डवार्थे पराक्रमी,“तुमने यह भी कहा था कि '“कौरवो! मैं जिनका सहायक हूँ, उन्हीं सव्यसाची अर्जुनके साथ तुम्हारा वैर बढ़ रहा है, इत्यादि। अतः अब सत्यप्रतिज्ञ होकर पाण्डवोंके लिये पराक्रमी बनो
mad-dvitīyena pārthān vai raṁ vaḥ savyasācinā | sa satya-saṅgaro bhūtvā pāṇḍavārthe parākramī ||
三阇耶说道:“以我为他的副手,噢普丽塔之子们,你们与萨维亚萨钦(阿周那)的仇怨确实正在加深。故而,当以真实不移的誓愿自持,为般度族之大义奋勇而战。”
संजय उवाच
The verse emphasizes steadfastness to truth and commitment: one should become satya-saṅgara—firm in a truthful resolve—and act with courage for a righteous cause, especially in the context of kṣatriya responsibility and pledged support.
Sañjaya reports a statement highlighting that with a powerful ally (“me as second”), the conflict with Arjuna is escalating; the speaker urges becoming true to one’s pledge and displaying valor on behalf of the Pāṇḍavas.
