जानासि मे जीवपुत्रि भावं नित्यमविग्रहे । क्रोशतो न च गृह्नीते वचनं मे सुयोधन:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

janāsi me jīvaputri bhāvaṃ nityam avigrahe |

krośato na ca gṛhṇīte vacanaṃ me suyodhanaḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩衍那说：“噢，育有健在之子的夫人，你知道我一向所持的心愿唯在和平，使俱卢与般度不致相争。我一次又一次高声劝告，然而苏由陀那（难敌，Duryodhana）并不接受我的话。”
