मित्राणि ते प्रह्ृष्यन्तु व्यथन्तु रिपवस्तथा । सौक्षात्रं चैव तेउ्द्यास्तु भ्रातृभि: सह पाण्डवै:
mitrāṇi te prahṛṣyantu vyathantu ripavas tathā | saukṣātraṃ caiva te 'dyāstu bhrātṛbhiḥ saha pāṇḍavaiḥ ||
“愿你的朋友欢欣，愿你的仇敌为忧苦所击。并且从今日起，噢，迦尔纳（Karṇa）啊，愿你——与诸般度兄弟同在——结成真正的骨肉之盟与善意之情。”
