Kṛṣṇa’s Conciliatory Address to Karṇa
द्रोण उदाच अश्वत्थाम्नि यथा पुत्रे भूयो मम धनंजये । बहुमान: परो राजन् संनतिश्व कपिध्वजे
Droṇa uvāca—Aśvatthāmni yathā putre bhūyo mama Dhanañjaye; bahumānaḥ paro rājan, sannatiś ca Kapidhvaje.
德罗纳说道：“大王，我对檀那阇耶（阿周那）的器重，甚至胜过我对亲子阿湿婆他曼的爱。对他的敬重在我心中至高无上；而那位立猴旗的阿周那，也以深切的谦恭与敬礼待我。”
