त एतदीदृशं कुर्युर्यथा त्वं तात मन्यसे । “तात! जिसे तुम ठीक समझते हो, ऐसा अधम कार्य तो वे लोग करते हैं, जो नीच कुलमें उत्पन्न हुए हैं तथा जो दुष्टचित्त, क्रूर एवं निर्लज्ज हैं
te etadīdṛśaṃ kuryur yathā tvaṃ tāta manyase |
毗舍波耶那说道：“孩子啊，他们将依你所认为合宜的方式行事。”此句点明：所提之策正以判断与礼法为衡量，亦含蓄地促人自省——何者为可贵之行，何者为卑下之举。
