अभेद्यं भास्करेणापि स्वयं वा कृष्णवर्त्मना । मृत्युके पश्चात् इस दिशामें जानेवाले प्राणीको ऐसे घोर अन्धकारका सामना करना पड़ता है, जो साक्षात् अग्नि एवं सूर्यके लिये भी अभेद्य है
abhedyaṁ bhāskareṇāpi svayaṁ vā kṛṣṇavartmanā | mṛtyuke paścāt asyāṁ diśiṁ jānevāle prāṇīko aise ghora andhakārakā sāmnā karnā paṛtā hai, jo sākṣāt agni evaṁ sūryake liye bhī abhedya hai
优波尔那说道：“死后，循此方向而去的众生，必将遭遇可怖的黑暗——浓重到连火焰与太阳也无法穿透。于彼处，寻常的光明与指引尽皆失效；这是在告诫：灵魂死后的去向，乃由其业行与抉择所塑成。”
