गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्
Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu
वैशम्पायन उवाच उक्त भगवता वाक्यमुक्त भीष्मेण यत् क्षमम् उक्त बहुविधं चैव नारदेनापि तच्छूणु
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: uktaṁ bhagavatā vākyaṁ, uktaṁ Bhīṣmeṇa yat kṣamam; uktaṁ bahuvidhaṁ caiva Nāradenāpi tac chṛṇu.
毗舍波耶那说道：“大王啊，世尊毗耶娑曾为杜律约陀那之福祉而开示劝诫；毗湿摩亦宣说了合宜与当行之事。此外，那罗陀也以多种方式施以教诲。如今且听我一一道来。”
