Mahabharata — Svargarohana Parva, Shloka 50

श्रद्धधानेन वै भाव्यमेवमाह गुरुर्मम । महाराज! ठीक ऐसी ही बात है। इस विषयमें कोई अन्यथा विचार नहीं करना चाहिये। मेरे गुरुका कथन है कि महाभारतकी इस महिमा और फलपर श्रद्धा रखनी चाहिये ।।

śraddadhānena vai bhāvyam evam āha gurur mama | mahārāja! ṭhīk aisī hī bāt hai | asmin viṣaye na kaścid anyathā vicāraḥ kartavyaḥ | mama guroḥ kathanaṃ yat mahābhāratasya asyā mahimā-phale śraddhā kartavyā || vācakasya tu dātavyaṃ manasā yad yad icchati, hasty-aśva-ratha-yānāni vāhanāni viśeṣataḥ |

毗舍波耶那说道:“当以信心趋入此事——这是我师所宣示的。大王,确实如此;在此事上不应怀有任何相反之念。我师教诲:当信受《摩诃婆罗多》的伟大威德与其所赐的灵性果报。并且,诵者心中所欲之物,皆当施与——尤其是象、马、战车、肩舆以及其他种种乘具。”
