तेषां श्रुत्वा प्रतिष्ठानं नामकर्मानुकीर्तनात् । कृत्वापि पातकं घोरं सद्यो मुच्येत मानव:
teṣāṃ śrutvā pratiṣṭhānaṃ nāma-karmānukīrtanāt | kṛtvāpi pātakaṃ ghoraṃ sadyo mucyeta mānavaḥ ||
毗舍摩波耶那说：只要听闻他们崇高的地位，并恒常称诵他们的名号与事迹，一个人——纵使犯下可怖重罪——也能立刻从罪垢中解脱。此偈强调忆念与赞颂正士的净化之力，指出只要真诚聆听与诵述，道德的更新亦可得而至。
