'युधिष्ठिर! ये जो लोककमनीय विग्रहसे युक्त पवित्र गन्धवाली देवी दिखायी दे रही हैं, साक्षात्‌ भगवती लक्ष्मी हैं। ये ही तुम्हारे लिये मनुष्यलोकमें जाकर अयोनिसम्भूता द्रौपदीके रूपमें अवतीर्ण हुई थीं ।।

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

yudhiṣṭhira! ye yā lokakamanīya-vigrahāḥ sa-yuktāḥ pavitra-gandha-vālinī devī dṛśyate, sā sākṣād bhagavatī lakṣmīḥ | eṣā hi tubhyaṁ manuṣya-loke gatvā ayoni-sambhūtā draupadī-rūpeṇa avatīrṇā āsīt ||

raty-arthaṁ bhavatāṁ hy eṣā nirmitā śūla-pāṇinā |

drupadasya kule jātā bhavad-dhiśvopajīvitā ||

毗湿摩波耶那说:“坚战啊,你所见那位女神——形貌为诸世所悦,清净芬芳——正是圣母吉祥天女拉克希米(Bhagavatī Lakṣmī)本身。为你之故,她降临人间,化现为非胎生的黑公主。确然,为作你们的伴侣,她由持三叉戟者湿婆所造;又生于德鲁帕陀一族,成为你们福祉的依凭。”

Educational Q&A
