देवदूतका युधिष्ठिरको मायामय नरकका दर्शन कराना स तं दुर्गन्धमालक्ष्य देवदूतमुवाच ह । कियदध्वानमस्माभिर्गन्तव्यमिममीदृशम्
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: Devadūtakaḥ Yudhiṣṭhiram māyāmaya-narakasya darśanaṃ kārayām āsa. Sa taṃ durgandham ālakṣya devadūtam uvāca: “Kiyad adhvānam asmābhiḥ gantavyam imam īdṛśam? Kva ca me te bhrātaraḥ? Etad me vaktum arhasi. Devatānām ayaṃ kaḥ deśaḥ? Etad jñātum icchāmi.”
毗湿摩波耶那说：天使引导由提施提罗去观见一处幻化之地狱。闻到那里的恶臭，由提施提罗便问使者：“兄弟，我们还要在这般道路上走多远？我的诸位兄弟在哪里？你应当告诉我。这里究竟是诸天的哪一境域？我愿明白。”
