Triviṣṭapa
ये चान्येडपि परिक्लेशा युष्माकं ज्ञातिकारिता: । संग्रामेष्वथ वान्यत्र न तान् संस्मर्तुमहसि
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca |
ye cānye 'pi parikleśā yuṣmākaṃ jñātikāritāḥ |
saṃgrāmeṣv atha vānyatra na tān saṃsmartum arhasi ||
毗舍摩波耶那说道:“至于你们所忍受的其他诸般艰难——由你们自己的亲族所招致——无论在战阵之中,抑或别处,都不宜在此再去追忆。”
वैशग्पायन उवाच
One should not cling to or rehearse past sufferings—especially those arising from conflicts among one’s own kin—when the ethical aim is to move beyond resentment and grief toward detachment and peace.
In the Svargārohaṇa context, the speaker advises the listeners not to dwell on the many pains they endured due to their own relatives, whether on the battlefield or in other circumstances, implying a transition from worldly grievance to a higher, reconciled perspective.
