राजधर्मः—प्रमादवर्जनं, दण्डनीतिः, दुर्बलरक्षणम्
Royal Dharma: Vigilance, Just Punishment, Protection of the Vulnerable
एतद् वृत्तं वासवस्य यमस्य वरुणस्य च । राजर्षीणां च सर्वेषां तत् त्वमप्यनुपालय,इन्द्र, यम, वरुण तथा सम्पूर्ण राजर्षियोंका यही बर्ताव है, तुम भी इसका निरन्तर पालन करो
etad vṛttaṃ vāsavasya yamasya varuṇasya ca | rājarṣīṇāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ tat tvam apy anupālaya ||
“这便是婆娑婆(因陀罗)、阎摩与伐楼那所立之常行,也是诸王仙一切所遵之法度。故汝亦当恒常守持,依此而行。”
उतथ्य उवाच
One should align one’s behavior with the time-tested dharmic conduct exemplified by divine guardians (Indra, Yama, Varuṇa) and by rājarṣis; ethical authority is grounded in consistent, exemplary practice.
Utathya cites the established conduct of major deities and all royal sages as precedent and urges the addressed listener to keep observing the same rule of right conduct without lapse.
