यानर्थभाजो मन्येथास्ते ते स्यु: सुखभागिन: । तुम जिन्हें अपना प्रिय मानते हो, उन्हें धन, सम्मान, अर्घ्य, सत्कार तथा भिन्न-भिन्न प्रकारके भोगोंद्वारा संतुष्ट करो, जिससे वे तुम्हारे प्रियजन धन और सुखके भागी हों ।।
yān arthabhājo manyethās te te syuḥ sukhabhāginaḥ | abhinna-vṛttā vidvāṃsaḥ sadvattāś carita-vratāḥ | na tvāṃ nityārthino jahyuḥ akṣudrāḥ satyavādinaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：“你所视为亲爱、值得扶持之人，当使他们同享富贵与安乐。以财物、荣誉、供献、款待与种种享受使其满足。那些学识之士，德行不坠，守戒持誓而坚定——纵使常有需求、时常求助——因其胸怀宽厚、言语真实，亦不会离弃你。”
