अग्राह्य-ज्ञातिसंबन्धमण्डल-विवेचनम् / Managing Unreadable Kinship Networks: Vāsudeva–Nārada on Cohesion

अर्थहेतोहि कामाद्‌ वा वाचा बीभत्सयापि वा । आत्मना प्राप्तमैश्वर्यमन्यत्र प्रतिपादितम्‌,आपने स्वयं जिस ऐश्वर्यको प्राप्त किया था, उसे किसी प्रयोजनवश या स्वेच्छासे अथवा कटुवचनसे डरकर दूसरेको दे दिया

artha-hetoḥ hi kāmād vā vācā bībhatsayāpi vā | ātmanā prāptam aiśvaryam anyatra pratipāditam ||

那罗陀说道:“纵然为求利、为欲望,乃至因畏惧粗鄙而刺耳的言辞,也不应将自己凭一己之力所得的王权与昌盛转交他人。以此等动机把自得之势拱手他处,乃是德行之失,亦是坚忍之坠。”
