Daṇḍanīti and the King as the Cause of Yuga-Order (दण्डनीतिः राजधर्मश्च युगकारणत्वम्)
स्वाम्ये प्रयत्नं कुर्वन्ति त्रयो वर्णा यथाविधि । तस्मादेव मनुष्याणां सुखं विद्धि समाहितम्
svāmye prayatnaṃ kurvanti trayo varṇā yathāvidhi | tasmād eva manuṣyāṇāṃ sukhaṃ viddhi samāhitam |
毗湿摩说道：“三种再生者（dvija）依照所规定的法则，竭力守护自身的安康与应有的状态。故当知：正是在这种秩序之中——在有效的治理下，人们安住于各自正当的职责——人间的幸福才得以稳固建立。”
