दृढ्भक्तिं कृतप्रज्ञं धर्मज्ञं संयतेन्द्रियम । शूरमक्षुद्रकर्माणं निषिद्धजनमाश्रयेत्‌

Transliteration

dṛḍhabhaktiṁ kṛtaprajñaṁ dharmajñaṁ saṁyatendriyam | śūram akṣudrakarmāṇaṁ niṣiddhajanam āśrayet ||

Translation

瓦苏摩那说：同样，国王应当倚重并任命为统帅者，须对君王坚贞不二，受过战阵训练而判断沉稳，通晓法度，能自制诸根，勇武无畏，行事高洁；且不向不正当或被禁之人求援。
