राजवृत्त-रक्षा-प्रणिधि-षाड्गुण्योपदेशः

ब्राह्मणाश्षतुरो वेदान् नाधीयीरंस्तपस्विन: । विद्यास्नाता व्रतस्नाता यदि राजा न पालयेत्
brāhmaṇāś caturō vedān nādhīyīraṁs tapasvinaḥ | vidyā-snāta vratā-snāta yadi rājā na pālayet ||
瓦苏摩那说：若国王不加护佑（百姓并维持秩序），则即便是苦行的婆罗门——学业既成、誓戒亦毕者——也将停止研习四部吠陀。此偈强调：王者的保护乃保存神圣学问与严谨宗教生活之必要条件。
