यत्‌ स्कन्नमस्य तत्‌ पूर्व यदस्कन्नं तदुत्तरम्‌ | बहूनि यज्ञरूपाणि नानाकर्मफलानि च

Transliteration

yat skannam asya tat pūrvaṁ yad askannaṁ tad uttaram | bahūni yajñarūpāṇi nānākarmaphalāni ca ||

Translation

毗湿摩说：“此仪中称为‘skanna’的供献在前（为初献）；称为‘askanna’的供献在后（为继献或终献）。如是，祭祀之式多端，而其果报亦随所作与所怀之意而各不相同。”
