Chapter 57: Constant Royal Vigilance, Primacy of Protection, and Principles of Dismissal
ऋषिणोद्दालकेनापि श्वेतकेतुर्महातपा: । मिथ्या विप्रानुपचरन् संत्यक्तो दयित: सुत:
ṛṣiṇoddālakena api śvetaketur mahātapāḥ | mithyā viprān upacaran saṃtyakto dayitaḥ sutaḥ ||
毗湿摩说：就连圣者优陀罗迦也舍弃了自己心爱的儿子白多计都——虽为大苦行者——只因这一过失：他以虚伪与欺诈之态对待婆罗门。此事表明：对贤德之人必须守持诚信与正直，此为不可退让之戒，即便犯者是至亲爱子亦然。
