tathā sarvaṃ sa nagaraṃ prasādya bharatarṣabha | vāsudevaṃ mahātmānam abhyagacchat kṛtāñjaliḥ ||
婆罗多族之雄牛啊!他既使全城与百姓尽皆欢悦,便合掌恭敬,前往拜见大心之瓦苏提婆(克里希那)。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights a dharmic sequence: first pacify and win the confidence of the community, then approach the truly noble (mahātmā) with humility (kṛtāñjaliḥ) to seek guidance—showing that ethical leadership combines public reconciliation with reverent openness to wise counsel.
After making the entire city and its people favorable and calm, the person in focus goes to Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) and approaches him respectfully with folded hands, indicating a request, submission, or readiness to receive instruction.
