यावदेतदतीतं मे वय: पुत्रफलाश्रितम्‌ | तावदिच्छामि पाथेयमादातुं पारलौकिकम्‌

yāvad etad atītaṃ me vayaḥ putraphalāśritam | tāvad icchāmi pātheyam ādātuṃ pāralaukikam ||

“我的一生久已流逝,所倚者不过是从儿子那里求得‘果报’的希冀。如今我愿积聚来世的资粮——合乎达摩的正当财富,使之成为通往彼岸之路上的行旅供给。”
